Nicole & Stuart’s engagement session at Williams Reservoir was such a sweet evening filled with mountain views, quiet moments, and plenty of laughter, especially with their adorable dog, Gordie, tagging along for the adventure. Nestled just outside of Pagosa Springs, Williams Reservoir created the perfect backdrop for their session!
From the moment we arrived, the two of them were completely at ease with one another. They spent the evening soaking in the beauty of the mountains and sharing the kind of effortless connection that makes documenting couples so meaningful.
One of my favorite parts of photographing engagement sessions in Pagosa Springs is the way Colorado’s natural beauty enhances every moment. The soft evening light, the mountain scenery, and the peaceful atmosphere created such a timeless setting for Nicole and Stuart’s photos. Every part of the evening felt natural and unhurried, allowing them to simply enjoy being together.
Gordie truly stole the show a few times throughout the session and added so much personality to their gallery! Including pets in engagement photos is such a fun way to make a session feel even more meaningful, especially when they are such a big part of a couple’s life together.
It was such a joy spending the evening with these two at Williams Reservoir, and I loved getting to document their relationship in such a beautiful place!
